Hello, i have somatic T since 6 months, and i think its from TMJ issues, mainly from exclusion of other causes and because when i got T i started having a swelling behind my right ear that can be moved with the jaw, so i can guess its the joint. I had one orthodontics proposing me a bite and several 100€ TECAR sessions (i searched online and there is scientific evidence that Tecar works, plus usually PT charges 30/40€ per session) and another who wanted to make me a splint and start a therapy with tongue excersises 🤔
Do you have any experience treating TMJ? Did that help with T?

Hello woonder,

I don’t have personal experience with treating TMJ, but addressing jaw issues like splints or exercises has helped others with tinnitus. It might be worth consulting a TMJ specialist to explore these options further.

Hello,
Has anyone had any success using botox to relax the over active muscles causing the TMJ issue? My girlfriend just had the injections but it can take a few weeks to take affect, will keep you all updated.
